• 9 inch store bought pie dough (you can make sure your own)
  • 4-5 apples sliced
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice or juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 tespoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • optional: caramel sauce


Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease tart pan with butter or coconut oil. Roll out pie dough and press into pan. Removing any extra dough scraps. Slice up apples and mix in a giant bowl with brown sugar, lemon juice and spices. Once tossed till all slices are coated arrange apple slices into the tart pan. Bake for 50 minutes. Let cool for 10-15 minutes and then drizzle with caramel sauce.
